In this role, you will support apprentices throughout their training, helping them build their skills, knowledge, and confidence in the workplace. You will manage a structured caseload, carry out regular site visits, and work closely with employers to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role covers the South West region, with travel across South Wales, Bristol, and down to Cornwall.


The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified Automotive Technician with hands-on experience in the industry. Full training will be provided, including assessor qualifications, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to move into education.

The Role:

  • Support and coach apprentices in automotive qualifications
  • Manage a caseload of learners and carry out regular reviews
  • Field-based role covering South Wales, Bristol, and Cornwall
  • Hybrid working with flexibility and autonomy
  • Full training and development provided


The Person:

  • Level 3 Automotive qualification (Light Vehicle, HGV or PSV)
  • Background as an Automotive Technician
  • Comfortable with travel and occasional stayaways
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Keen to move into a training and development role
