THE ROLE
As an Automation Technician, you’ll play a key role in assembling, wiring, testing, and commissioning bespoke automated machinery and production systems. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

• Assemble and wire automation equipment and control panels to precise specifications.
• Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics, drawings, and BOMs.
• Conduct functional testing and fault-finding on completed builds.
• Support on-site installation and commissioning when needed.
• Maintain safety, quality, and documentation standards.
• Provide feedback to improve build efficiency and reliability.

YOU

• Proven experience in automation equipment assembly or industrial electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ, ONC, HNC) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site installations.
