Automation Engineer 5 days a week on-site in Farnborough £550-£650 a day Inside IR35 Requires Active SC ClearanceWe are recruiting an Automation Engineer to support the delivery of critical defence programmes within a secure environment. This is a fully onsite role in Farnborough, requiring candidates to hold active SC clearance and be comfortable working on sensitive projects.Key SkillsAnsibleTerraformBashPowerShellPython (desirable)ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain infrastructure and configuration automation.Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.Create and manage Ansible playbooks for system deployment and configuration.Develop Scripting solutions using Bash and PowerShell.Support secure, scalable, and repeatable deployment processes.Work closely with infrastructure, platform, and engineering teams within a defence setting.RequirementsActive SC Clearance (essential).Proven automation engineering experience.Strong Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and PowerShell skills.Experience working in secure or defence environments.Python knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering important solutions across the UK defence sector.To learn more, please do reach out to Jess Walrond at Sanderson Government and Defence at (see below) Reasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
