Control and Systems Engineer Burton-on-Trent£48,000 £58,000 DOEMonday Friday 8:00am 4:00pm 40 hours We re recruiting for an experienced Control and Systems Engineer to join the engineering team of a well-established, global manufacturing business based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in industrial automation, PLCs and control systems who enjoys a mix of hands-on engineering, software development, fault finding and project work. You ll become a key technical specialist within the site, working on a range of automation, controls and engineering improvement projects taking projects from initial concept and specification through to design, programming, implementation and commissioning. What you ll be doing Developing, modifying and fault finding PLC and control systems Working extensively with Siemens S7 Simatic Manager and TIA Portal Supporting SCADA systems, PLC interfaces and industrial software integration Programming and fault finding AC and DC drives Delivering automation and control projects from concept through to completion Working hands-on with production machinery, upgrades and new installations Identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and performance Producing designs, software and technical documentation Working alongside Engineering, Production, Quality, RandD, HSE and IT teams Liaising with external suppliers and contractors Providing technical guidance and sharing knowledge with other ..... full job details .....
