Automation Engineer - Linux and Windows.Must be SC Cleared*

Location: London - Hybrid, 2 days per week onsiteRate: Up to £375 per day - Inside IR35Type: Contract We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to support a major financial services organisation with a programme of enterprise application upgrades, migrations and platform refreshes. The role will focus on upgrading applications across Windows and Linux environments, while developing automation to make future upgrades and deployments more efficient and repeatable. Key Responsibilities Deliver application upgrades, migrations and platform refreshes. Administer enterprise applications across Windows and Linux. Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python and/or Ansible. Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines. Troubleshoot application, Middleware and infrastructure issues. Support Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices. Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks. Key Requirements Strong Windows and Linux application administration experience. Proven experience delivering application/platform upgrades in production. Strong Scripting/automation skills - PowerShell, Bash and/or Python. Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tooling. Experience with application Servers, Middleware and databases. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
