Automation Engineer - Electrical and Controls£41,000 per annum Monday-Friday Permanent FMCG ManufacturingAre you an experienced Automation Engineer Electrical and Controls Engineer looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment?We are recruiting for an Automation Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing operation, where you will play a key role in improving the reliability, efficiency and performance of automated production equipment.This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with strong PLC, robotics, HMI and industrial controls experience who enjoys problem-solving and delivering tangible improvements.Shift: Working Days, Mon - Fri - Early finish FridayThe RoleAs an Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical and controls elements of machine building, optimisation and high-level technical support across the production environment.You will: Design, implement and test control systems using PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics and industrial networks.Debug and optimise PLC, robotic and HMI software.Integrate sensors, actuators, robotics and machine-safety hardware.Analyse and improve electrical systems and automated machinery performance.Optimise control systems to improve uptime, cycle times and efficiency.Provide electrical and controls fault-finding and troubleshooting support.Work closely with Mechanical, Quality and Production teams.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across ..... full job details .....
