Control and Automation Engineer £50000 - £55000 P/A - depending on experience Southampton Full time Permanent Are you an experienced Automation and Controls Engineer looking to take ownership of full project lifecycles, from concept and design through to commissioning and client handover?Attega Group is proud to be partnering with a leading engineering solutions provider to recruit an Automation and Controls Engineer to join their growing Projects and Engineering team.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong PLC, HMI/SCADA, and electrical design experience who enjoys delivering bespoke process systems and turnkey automation solutions across a variety of industries.In return, is a salary of up to £55,000 P/A, depending on experience. As an Automation and Controls Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Designing electrical control panels and producing electrical schematics.Developing PLC and HMI/SCADA software solutions to meet customer requirements.Producing User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Functional Design Specifications.Programming, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding PLC and control systems.Conducting factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning activities.Designing and integrating complete automation solutions including VFDs, instrumentation, and process equipment.Producing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacture and project costing.Attending client and supplier meetings to define project scope and technical ..... full job details .....
