Automation Engineer (6-month contract)Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for providing software support for site automation systems and ensuring the smooth operation of critical processes.Role Purpose:As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that enhance the efficiency of automation systems. Your expertise will play a vital role in translating Process Engineering requirements into effective software code, ensuring safe and reliable operations on a Top Tier COMAH site.Key Responsibilities:Follow Safe Systems of Work to uphold the highest HSEQ standards in all daily activities.Implement changes within agreed timelines while meeting performance parameters.Devise and execute control strategies to address production bottlenecks identified by Production Management.Ensure both temporary and permanent modifications are conducted safely and securely.Manage interfaces between engineering, production, and process control systems, demonstrating a thorough understanding of each.Diagnose process control issues and provide effective solutions.Collaborate with design teams to coordinate and execute projects efficiently, minimising impact on production assets.Critical Knowledge andamp; Experience:Proven experience in Control Engineering, particularly with Emerson DeltaV.Relevant engineering design experience in a similar role.Strong understanding of HSEQ ..... full job details .....
