Automation & Controls Manager

A leading-UK FMCG manufacturer-and recognised-premium brand within its sector-is seeking an experienced-Automation & Controls Manager-to join their site engineering leadership team in-North Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of site automation strategy while leading a team and delivering large-scale automation and continuous improvement projects within a modern manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading automation and controls strategy across the manufacturing site
• Managing and developing the controls/automation team
• Delivering large-scale automation and capital projects
• Supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
• Maintaining and developing PLC, HMI and SCADA systems

Key experience required:

• Strong background in industrial automation within manufacturing/FMCG
• Experience with-Siemens TIA Portal, PLC programming, HMI and SCADA systems
• Solid electrical engineering knowledge
• Proven team leadership experience
• Track record of delivering automation or controls projects in a production environment
