AutoCAD Technician

An opportunity has arisen for an AutoCAD Technician  to join a growing, collaborative design team at a well-established company, specialising in window and door packages for commercial new-build projects. Along with a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, you will receive:

With a strong foothold in sectors such as Care Homes, Build to Rent, High Rise Buildings and Hotels, they continue to expand—creating this brand-new Designer position. 

What you’ll be doing as AutoCAD Technician:

- Attending internal handover meetings with Sales and Estimating
- Collating and reviewing technical specifications to ensure product accuracy
- Presenting drawings and solutions to architects, addressing technical queries
- Preparing detailed construction and fabrication drawings for sign-off
- Liaising with suppliers for pricing, revisions, and technical clarifications
- Supporting handovers to the Contracts team for project delivery

We’re looking for an AutoCAD Technician with:

- Experience within the commercial construction sector
- Strong technical drawing skills – proficient in AutoCAD or Revit
- Knowledge of windows, doors, glazing, cladding, or façades
- Skilled in Microsoft 365, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented and comfortable handling multiple project
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Highly Desirable:

- Background in Design, Estimating, Project Management or Technical Sales for windows and doors
- Experience on commercial builds like Care Homes, Hotels, High-Rise Buildings
