AutoCAD Technician - Architectural Firescreens Location: Leeds, LS12 Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: ASAP Hours: 39.5 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Hybrid Working: 1-2 days per week from home once fully trained The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AutoCAD Technician to join a specialist architectural firescreen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical and production drawings from site surveys and architectural drawings, supporting the design process through to manufacture and installation. This role would suit an experienced AutoCAD Technician with a strong eye for detail and an interest in architectural, interiors, metalwork or construction-related projects. Key Responsibilities Produce production drawings and technical details for manufacture and installation. Develop drawings from site surveys and architectural plans. Manage the initial design stage of projects. Provide technical support and advice to account managers and architects. Accurately record project correspondence and technical discussions. Purchase or coordinate the purchasing of materials required for contracts. Work closely with contracts teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
