Location: Keighley
Salary: -18.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday - DAYS - 36 hours

The Role of the Auto Electrician
We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician-to join a busy PSV engineering team maintaining and repairing modern buses and coaches.
This is a great opportunity to work on a varied fleet in a safety-critical environment where quality and reliability matter.

Key Responsibilities of the Auto Electrician

  • Electrical fault finding and diagnostics on PSV (buses & coaches)
  • Repair and replacement of wiring looms
  • Working on CANbus systems
  • CCTV, destination equipment & telematics systems
  • Lighting systems, battery systems & charging faults
  • Diagnosing multiplex electrical systems
  • Supporting MOT preparation & vehicle inspections
  • Working to DVSA standards-
What the Auto Electrician needs:
  • Proven experience as an-Auto Electrician-(PSV, HGV or commercial vehicles)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working with CANbus & multiplex systems
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Electrical Systems (desirable)
  • Own tools preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence beneficial but not essential)
