The role involves carrying out repairs, maintenance and electrical installations on heavy plant, road rail vehicles and associated equipment. Auto Electrical / Plant Fitter - Position Overview Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance on heavy plant and road rail vehicles. Install wiring looms and electrical components. Diagnose and rectify electrical faults. Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and schematics. Build and assemble mechanical components. Use hand tools and equipment to a high standard. Work both at the depot and customer sites as required. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures.
