Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism?  A friendly and unique Special School in Lewisham are seeking an Autism Support Worker to join their team full-time as soon as possible. The school caters for children and young people with Autism as their primary needs. There are also pupils with Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language Needs and ADHD. This is therefore the perfect opportunity for an experienced Support Worker or recent Graduate to further their experience with SEND.  As an Autism Support Worker, you will work alongside the class teacher and provide 1-2-1 support during the lessons. You will build a strong relationship with all pupils, and learn to cater for each of their social and emotional needs. You will help manage any challenging behaviour that may arise, and also ensure each pupil is engaged and focused in class.
