The school are looking for someone to start in September.The role as an Autism Support Worker:To support students who struggle with their class workFacilitate a fun and friendly learning environmentTo provide support to the class teacherTo help the class teacher prepare lesson materials and classroom boardsTo keep the classroom a tidy and presentable environmentTo encourage children to do their bestHelp manage classroom behaviourListen to the children read and practice their phonics The successful Autism Support Worker: You will need to be calm and compassionate. Personality is everything!You must be able to take initiative well and problem solveHave some experience working with children - desirable but not essentialYou must be patient.
