Audit Transformation - Senior Manager

Overview
Our Audit Transformation team is at the heart of transforming the way we Audit as a firm. The team supports key Audit infrastructure (Aura, Halo, Smart Budget) and ongoing and new projects that can shape the future of Audit, including Connected Development, Next Generation Audit (NGA), and BtAC. Audit Transformation (AT) focuses on improving quality of delivery, reducing the cost of delivery, and evolving the working experience of our partners and staff with a focus on Making Quality Easier (MQE).Responsibilities
Work with the business and key stakeholders to shape the Audit Delivery Model, ensuring it is scalable, sustainable, and meets new and evolving opportunities and challenges.Scope, drive and project manage individual transformation projects, including identifying success measures and MI requirements.Work closely with the implementation team during scoping, piloting and roll out of the individual projects.Use and build analytical, intellectual curiosity, and strategic thinking to identify opportunities, take ownership and propose solutions from scratch.Respond in an agile way to new and changing business priorities, thriving in an environment where no day looks or feels the same.Build networks across the UK and Global Audit business and supporting functions, and utilise these networks effectively.Develop influencing skills to gain consensus and drive approval of change proposals.Build project management skills to drive and manage change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Enhance problem-solving capabilities to identify and solve complex business problems.Drive and support business implementation and change management efforts.Potential for international travel within the RTM expansion.Support the NGA team working across the Global Network.Job Description / Opportunities
Senior Managers are sought to lead multiple change projects across AT and the audit practice.What you will have / be
An established Senior Manager with leadership experience, including delegating, motivating, coaching and upskilling junior team members.Chartered Accountant / ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualification (or international equivalent).Strong knowledge of PwC Audit methodology and processes.Awareness of or direct experience delivering financial statement audits within the UK.Ability to translate technical subject matter into simple, practical material.Focus on end-user perspective to shape implementation and communications strategy.Dynamic and agile, able to respond to shifting priorities.Ability to work under pressure with evolving priorities.Strong written and oral communication skills, including in a hybrid environment.Creative and innovative thinking to challenge traditional approaches.Excellent organisational / project management skills and attention to detail.Interest in supporting and driving organisational change and building new skills to drive transformation.Additional Information
This role offers the potential for flexible working. Working on the RTM project would involve regular international business travel. The role is being offered initially on a 12-month secondment basis, with a view to possibly extend further.Seniority level
