Robert Half are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Senior Auditor to join an established accountancy practice firm on a 3-month contract, supporting with year-end audits for a portfolio of clients.Based in central Barnsley, this role will be working from the clients'' offices, so we are looking for someone who is confident operating in a client-facing environment and able to make an immediate impact.Key responsibilities:Lead and deliver year-end audits for a range of businessesPlan, conduct and complete audit fieldwork efficiently and accuratelyReview financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standardsWork closely with clients on-site, building strong and professional relationshipsIdentify audit risks, prepare findings and report back to senior stakeholdersSupport and guide junior team members where requiredKey requirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)Proven experience as a Senior Auditor within an accountancy practiceStrong background in year-end audits for external clientsComfortable working on-site in client officesAble to work independently, manage deadlines and handle a busy workloadStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsContract details:3-month contractBased in central BarnsleyOn-site in clients'' officesImmediate start preferredThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Auditor who enjoys working directly with clients and is available for a short-term assignment in a busy ..... full job details .....
