Audit Senior

A growing accountancy and advisory firm is looking for a qualified Audit Senior to join its Crawley team. You will lead assignments for an impressive portfolio of established corporates, growing businesses and international groups while developing the client, commercial and leadership experience needed to progress into management. This is a visible position within a growing team, offering genuine responsibility and regular access to Managers, Directors and Partners. As an Audit Senior, you will: You will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, becoming a trusted point of contact for clients and a source of support for junior colleagues. Lead external audit engagements from planning and fieldwork through to completion. Manage day-to-day relationships with client finance teams and senior stakeholders. Coordinate assignments to ensure work is delivered accurately, efficiently and within budget. Review the work of junior and part-qualified colleagues. Coach team members and provide constructive feedback throughout assignments. Prepare and review financial statements under UK GAAP. Identify audit issues early and communicate clear, practical solutions. Work closely with Managers and Partners on technically complex or higher-risk areas. Use modern audit and data-analysis technology across remote and client-site engagements.
