Audit Senior

Audit Senior Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, including risk assessment, scoping, and designing audit procedures. Perform and review complex audit testing across key financial statement areas (revenue, inventory, fixed assets, provisions, payroll, debtors/creditors). Supervise and coach junior team members, reviewing their work and providing feedback. Act as main client contact during fieldwork, managing queries, gathering evidence, and maintaining strong working relationships. Prepare statutory accounts and draft sections of the audit file including going-concern assessments, key audit matters, and completion documentation. Audit Senior Identify internal control weaknesses and prepare recommendations for improvement. Manage budgets, timelines, and workflow, ensuring engagements are delivered efficiently and within recovery targets. Ensure compliance with ISA standards, UK GAAP/IFRS, and regulatory requirements. Support Audit Managers with reporting, file completion, and presenting findings. Audit Senior Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, ISA standards, and Companies Act requirements.
