Audit Senior / Audit and Accounts Senior - SUPERB ROLEMcGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top20 Accountancy Firm who are looking for a Qualified Audit Senior/Audit and Accounts Senior to join their growing team on the South Coast (near Bournemouth/Poole). Managing a portfolio of clients across a wide range of industry sectors, the role will typically be 80% Audit and 20% Accounts with key duties to include:Supporting the Audit Managers, gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting and audit issues under UK and international standards and regulations.Auditing of UK and international businesses including healthcare, energy, marine, engineering, manufacturing, construction, transportation and other business services (up to £100m turnover)Main point of contact for clients who are UK-based companies or UK subsidiaries of overseas parentsAssisting with the planning for audit assignments, taking responsibility for achieving agreed budgets and meeting deadlines.Setting objectives for graduate/junior audit staff and supervising them on site, including reviewing their audit work and coaching on-the-jobClose liaison with audit clients and other stakeholders, building long-term relationships for the future benefit of the firmEnsuring all Audit and Year-End Accounting work is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with internal processesAssisting with the preparation of Statutory Accounts and conducting final Audit review meetings with ..... full job details .....
