Audit Senior Manager / Associate Director - BelfastMCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established Top 10 Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Audit Senior Manager/Associate Director on a full time, permanent basis.The Company:A professional services firm based in Northern Ireland operates as part of a wider network across Ireland, employing over 2,700 staff across 10 offices. The firm provides a broad range of services including audit, accounting, corporate finance, forensic analysis, tax, and payroll support. It was recently acquired by a U.S.-based member firm within the same global network, significantly expanding its international reach and client base.Responsibilities

Lead and manage audits across a varied client portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.Build lasting client relationships through deep business understanding and value-driven insights.Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and firm audit methodologies.Supervise, coach, and develop audit team members to strengthen team capability.Combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to manage engagements effectively.Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals and pitches.Collaborate with Partners on strategic initiatives and audit practice growth.Qualifications

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)Strong technical expertise in Irish GAAP and auditing standards; IFRS experience a plusProven ability to manage client portfolios and lead audit engagementsSkilled in using electronic audit tools and methodologiesEffective team leader with the ability to motivate and manage under pressureStrong analytical, organisational, and decision-making capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining client relationshipsWhat’s in it for you?
