Audit Senior Location: Stratford-upon-Avon Hybrid Job Type: Full TimeThe role An established and growing accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join its team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a varied client base, with responsibility for leading audits from planning through to completion.You''ll work closely with managers and partners, taking ownership of fieldwork, supporting junior team members, and ensuring audits are delivered to a high standard.Key responsibilitiesLeading audit assignments from planning through to completionRunning on-site fieldwork and acting as key client contact during engagementsReviewing work prepared by juniors and providing coaching where requiredPreparing statutory accounts for audit clientsSupporting planning and risk assessment processesEnsuring audits are completed in line with deadlines and standardsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsSupporting wider team development and internal process improvementsAbout youACA / ACCA qualified or finalistStrong audit experience within an accountancy practiceConfident leading sections of audits or full assignmentsGood technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounts preparationStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage deadlines and multiple engagementsProactive and team-focused approachThe packageCompetitive salary, dependent on experienceHybrid and flexible working options25 days annual leave plus bank ..... full job details .....
