Audit Senior

We are seeking an Audit Senior for a well-established accountancy practice at its Banbury office. The ideal candidate will be recently qualified ACA or ACCA and have considerable audit experience gained within a UK accountancy firm. Working closely with Directors, the role will provide opportunities to take responsibility for a varied client portfolio, supervising and supporting junior colleagues. Supporting the Directors, as Audit Senior your responsibilities will include: Taking full responsibility for the delivery of audits for complex clients Planning and scoping audit assignments effectively, including allocating resources, setting deadlines and establishing clear and appropriate terms of reference Managing and undertaking audit assignments efficiently and effectively Identifying key risks to business objectives, evaluating and testing internal controls, and making practical recommendations for improvement Liaising with Directors and clients throughout the planning and delivery of audits Preparing clear, accurate and high-quality audit reports for presentation to Directors and clients Managing systems development and advisory assignments, undertaking more complex areas of work and advising Directors on issues with significant risk or control ..... full job details .....
