Audit Semi Senior

A well established and highly regarded independent chartered accountancy practice based in Uckfield is seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team. This role offers increasing responsibility, exposure to a varied client portfolio, and excellent opportunities for career development within a supportive environment.The role will include:Assisting in the planning and execution of statutory audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs and owner managed businessesUndertaking audit fieldwork, including testing of controls and substantive testing across key financial areasPreparing clear and well structured audit working papers in line with firm and regulatory standardsTaking responsibility for specific sections of audits, with increasing ownership as experience developsIdentifying audit issues and communicating findings to senior team membersAssisting with the preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAPSupporting the completion of audit assignments, including resolving queries and finalising filesBuilding effective working relationships with clients and acting as a point of contact during audit engagementsSupporting and guiding junior team members where appropriateRequirementsMust have a minimum of 12 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACAA practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice with non-profit companies and charities.
