Audit Manager Location: LiverpoolSalary: Circa £60,000Client Focus: SME / Owner-Managed Businesses and Not-for-ProfitProgression: Clear route to RI status The Opportunity An established and growing accountancy practice in Liverpool is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager as part of the continued development of its audit team. This is more than a standard Audit Manager position. The successful individual will work closely with the existing management team, with the intention of progressing to Responsible Individual (RI) status in the short term and ultimately playing a leading role within the firm''s audit offering. The firm is looking for someone technically strong but equally engaging, commercially aware and confident with clients, who wants to have a wider impact on the growth and development of a practice. The Role You will take responsibility for a varied audit portfolio, predominantly consisting of SMEs, owner-managed businesses, Not-for-Profit organisations and professional practices. Key responsibilities will include: Managing audit assignments from initial planning through to completion Acting as the key point of contact for your own portfolio of clients Managing and developing a team of approximately 3-4 staff Reviewing work and maintaining high standards of audit quality Building strong relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities to provide additional support Contributing to new business pitches, tenders and wider business ..... full job details .....
