Audit Manager

NXTGEN is pleased to be partnering with a highly regarded and growing accountancy practice as they look to strengthen their expanding team with the appointment of an Audit Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager, or an ambitious Assistant Manager ready to step up, to take on greater responsibility across a varied client portfolio. You will have the opportunity to take real ownership of client relationships, work on increasingly complex assignments and play an important role in the continued development of the wider audit team. The role offers a broad mix of audit, accounts and advisory work, with exposure to a diverse portfolio of SME and group clients across a range of sectors. Working closely with Partners and senior members of the team, you will have plenty of client interaction and the opportunity to become a trusted point of contact, whilst also developing your technical and commercial experience. As Audit Manager, you will take responsibility for audits from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within agreed deadlines and budgets. There is also strong exposure to group audits and consolidated accounts, alongside statutory accounts and corporation tax work, making this a particularly good opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience.
