Description Manage a portfolio of audit clients, leading engagements from initial planning through to successful completion. Deliver audits efficiently and on schedule, ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies. Lead audit planning and completion meetings, while developing and empowering senior team members to assume greater responsibility. Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term professional relationships. Identify and escalate technical and commercial matters to the Responsible Individual (RI), recommending practical and effective solutions where appropriate. Oversee audit resource allocation, proactively highlighting resourcing requirements and potential challenges to the RI. Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to audit team members throughout the audit lifecycle. Review audit files and working papers to a consistently high standard prior to RI review. Review statutory financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
