We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee and manage audit engagements for a portfolio of SME''s and OMB''s. Based in Southampton, this role requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to clients.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established local accountancy firm with clients across the South. They are a medium-sized organisation with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional audit and advisory services to a diverse client base.DescriptionPlan, manage, and deliver audit assignments to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support throughout engagements.Review and finalise audit reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity for client presentation.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for audit matters.Identify and address potential risks, offering recommendations for process improvements.Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services where necessary.Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes affecting audit practices.Support the development of junior team members through training and performance reviews.ProfileA successful Audit Manager should have:A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) with a strong understanding of audit practices.Proven experience in managing audit engagements within the British accountancy sector.Excellent technical ..... full job details .....
