Audit and Accounts Manager / Audit Manager - SUPERB ROLE McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast-growing Top20 Accountancy Firm who are looking to strengthen their Audit function and recruit a Qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Manager / Audit and Accounts Manager for their Reading based offices. Reporting to one of the Directors, you will be responsible for: Leading a variety of medium-sized and larger Audit assignments across multiple industry sectors within the Thames Valley, liaising with Partners when required Reviewing audit files, undertaking audit planning for upcoming jobs and leading/assisting Audit juniors with fieldwork Ensuring audit assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within cost budgets agreed with Directors Supervising and reviewing on-site jobs completed by up to 4 junior Audit staff Using accounting software to provide accurate reporting for clients and third-parties Reviewing monthly and quarterly management accounts for limited companies and partnerships when required Finalising statutory accounts and related papers as required by Partners for final review and sign-off Some involvement with business development and bid-work in relation to new audit clients Providing input to product pricing, including new client fee quotes Applying your technical audit knowledge to juniors through on the job training To be considered for the role you should be a Qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Supervisor or Manager, ideally with 3+ years ..... full job details .....
