Audit Manager / Audit and Accounts Manager - SUPERB ROLEMcGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with an entrepreneurial Top100 Accountancy Practice who are looking for an Audit Manager / Audit and Accounts Manager to work in their growing Guildford office. With a client base covering the Thames Valley and Home Counties, the role will involve controlling all Audit assignments and their delivery, supervising Audit Seniors and Juniors, meeting budgets/targets, business developement and financial reporting. Key duties include :Assisting Audit Directors with managing client portfolios, ensuring all Audit engagements comply with audit standards and internal proceduresManaging all end-to-end Audit assignments and liaising with Client Managers as necessarySupervising the work of Audit and Account Seniors/Juniors including their on-the-job trainingPerforming spot checks on audit files prior to being passed to Audit DirectorsBusiness development work including attending new client meetings and client pitches Organising the delivery and oversight of audit training and reviews with the Audit DirectorsBudgetary planning and monitoring the team''s audit work against agreed KPI targetsReviewing working papers, along with drafts of financial statements and corporate tax computationsAddressing and discussing with clients any technical audit issues identified during the course of auditsIdentifying areas requiring improvement in client processes and providing recommendationsPlanning ..... full job details .....
