      <description>Location: Manchester | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Marks Sattin are delighted to be supporting a Regional firm of Chartered Accountants as they continue to grow their Audit team. They''re looking to appoint an ambitious Audit Manager who wants more than just a technical role. This is an opportunity to join a 23-person Audit team, working closely with the Partner and Head of Audit, in a role where you''ll have genuine ownership, client exposure and responsibility. You''ll manage a portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses, typically with turnover between £15m and £50m, with audit fees ranging from £20k-£100k. You''ll take responsibility for a portfolio of around £500k, but this isn''t a role where you''ll simply manage from a distance.  People management is particularly important. You''ll play a key role in developing the team, managing performance and helping shape the next stage of the Audit function as the business goes through its restructure.
