Excellent firm of chartered accountants based in Essex arelooking for an audit manager to join their team About the Role An established, high-growth UK accountancy and business advisorypractice is seeking an ambitious Audit Manager to join theirEssex office. This is an excellent opportunity for apost-qualified audit professional to take full ownership of adiverse client portfolio, lead audit assignments from start tofinish, and work closely with office Partners to drive teamsuccess. Key Responsibilities Audit Management: Lead full-cycle audit engagements for a variedportfolio of SMEs and corporate clients in line with UK GAAP (FRS102) and ISAs. Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junioraudit staff, providing ongoing coaching and career development. Client and Partner Liaison: Act as the main point of contact forclient leadership; report key findings and technical insightsdirectly to Responsible Individuals (RIs) and Partners. Commercial Performance: Monitor job budgets, billings, and WIPtargets to ensure timely and profitable project delivery. Key Requirements Qualification: Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent. Experience: Proven post-qualification experience managing auditengagements within a UK accounting practice. Technical Knowledge: Strong command of UK accounting standardsand International Standards on Auditing.
