Audit Manager £56,000 to £64,000 per annum (DOE) Permanent, full time Manchester A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Manager to take ownership of client relationships and lead a capable audit team. Manchester is one of the UK''s most commercially dynamic regional cities, and the firm''s audit portfolio reflects that, spanning a range of sectors and client sizes. What''s the day to day of the role: Managing audit delivery across a varied and technically interesting client portfolio Reviewing audit files and giving clear, constructive feedback to junior and semi senior staff Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and managing those relationships Supporting partners on complex assignments and strategic client planning Leading and developing members of the audit team Contributing to business development and growing the firm''s audit portfolio Required skills and qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong audit background gained in practice At least five years'' experience within a UK Practice environment Proven experience managing a varied audit portfolio and leading a team Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks Confidence to engage at senior client and ..... full job details .....
