Audit ExecutiveMilton Keynes - Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days home after short qualifying periodWe are seeking a newly qualified (ACA or ACCA) Audit Executive to join a Top 13 UK Practice firm based in their Milton Keynes office. Ideally you will have previously worked in practice and have 0-1 years post qualified experience.The RoleDeal with correspondence from clientsAgree timing of work/scheduling with clientsRegularly review and give feedback on workManage own portfolio of clients (where appropriate)Ensure the planning memorandum is produced, identify risk areas and most efficient method of gathering audit evidenceProduce draft budget if requiredDelegate, supervise and review work of seniors and juniors, ensuring the file is complete and all review points addressed before it is passed to the Partner or ManagerMonitor work in progress on all jobs within the portfolio, communicating any potential problems and write offs to the Partners or Managers on a timely basisUndertake critical audit areas (in a few key jobs where appropriate)Monitor filing deadlines and ensure deadlines are achieved, including corporation tax and Companies House filings.What We''re Looking ForACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified - with experience in practiceNewly qualified or 1 year of post qualified experience requiredComputer packages - Excel, Word, Sage, Alpha Tax, CaseWare, VPM/CentralSupervisory experience - ability to manage and delegate effectivelyClient focus and commercially awareCommunication - oral and ..... full job details .....
