At MHA, you’ll be surrounded by passionate professionals who are dedicated to making a difference. Your work in Audit will go beyond the numbers – it’s about building meaningful client relationships, understanding their businesses, navigating risks, and delivering insights that drive real results.Deal with correspondence from clientsAgree timing of work/scheduling with clientsRegularly review and give feedback on workManage own portfolio of clients.Ensure the planning memorandum is produced, identify risk areas and most efficient method of gathering audit evidenceDelegate, supervise and review work of seniors and juniors, ensuring the file is complete and all review points addressed before it is passed to the Partner or ManagerMonitor work in progress on all jobs within the portfolio, communicating any potential problems and write offs to the Partners or Managers on a timely basisUndertake critical audit areas (in a few key jobs where appropriate)Excluding audits, be aware of other MHA services and products which may be appropriate to the clientsMonitor filing deadlines and ensure deadlines are achieved, including corporation tax and Companies House filings.What We’re Looking ForACA/ACCA qualified – with experience in practiceNewly qualified or 1 year of post qualified experience requiredComputer packages – Excel, Word, Sage, Alpha Tax, CaseWare, VPM/CentralSupervisory experience – ability to manage and delegate effectivelyClient focus and commercially awareCommunication – oral and written, ability to deal with variety of people in different environmentsOrganisation skills – the ability to juggle a number of different tasks at onceRewards That ResonateYou’re more than a number to us; you’re an individual with unique talents and aspirations.
