Audit and Accounts Director / Audit and Accounts Partner Designate (with RI status)McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast growing Regional Accountancy Firm with 12 partners and 80+ staff who are looking for an Audit and Accounts Director / Partner Designate (ideally with RI status) to join their growing LONDON team. Reporting to the Senior Partners, it will be a salaried role profit share initially, with a view to becoming an equity partner in the future. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of OMBs/SMEs including Limited Companies, PE-backed firms and Partnerships (typically up to £150m turnover) and managing a team of Qualified General Practice staff. Key deliverables for the position include:Reviewing complex client accounts and financial statements prepared by Qualified staff for client sign-offEnsuring all Audit and Account assignments comply with UK Accounting Standards and internal policies and proceduresManaging complex audits, staff planning, presenting final audit files/close-out meetings with clients at ''C'' suite levelPlanning special project assignments, ownership of agreed budgets and ensuring the teams meet client deadlines.Setting objectives and completing appraisals for Audit staff, including future staff growth planning for the officeEngaging with new clients and business development activities to help grow the firm across the Greater London areaAs Partner, point of contact for major with direct contact at CFO/CEO ..... full job details .....
