AUDIT ASSISTANT MANAGER BLACKBURN (HYBRID) £45,000-£55,000 + GREAT BENEFITS THE OPPORTUNITY Get Recruited is partnering with an established and growing accountancy practice that is looking to bring on board an Audit Assistant Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or recently qualified accountant who is ready to take greater responsibility for managing audit assignments, reviewing junior colleagues'' work and developing strong client relationships. Working closely with Audit Managers and Responsible Individuals, you will manage a varied portfolio of audit engagements from planning through to completion. The position offers broad client exposure and a clear route towards Audit Manager level. THE AUDIT ASSISTANT MANAGER ROLE Manage audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion. Prepare audit plans, identify key risks and develop suitable testing strategies. Coordinate audit fieldwork, ensuring assignments are completed accurately, on time and within budget. Review audit files and work prepared by junior and part-qualified colleagues. Identify accounting, control and compliance issues, escalating significant matters where appropriate. Prepare clear audit findings and practical recommendations for clients. Work closely with Audit Managers and Responsible Individuals to resolve technical queries. Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout each assignment.
