Job Title Audit and Accounts Senior Location Manchester Salary £38,000 - £46,000 (depending on experience) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join a growing and well-established accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA finalist or qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative team, working with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounts services while building strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members. What you will be doing as an Audit and Accounts Senior Leading audit fieldwork for a broad range of clients. Completing audit testing across key financial statement areas in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). Preparing clear and accurate audit working papers for manager review. Assisting with audit planning, risk assessments and assignment scoping. Monitoring audit budgets and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently. Identifying audit issues and communicating findings to management. Supporting audit completion, including analytical reviews and clearance of review points. Reviewing work completed by trainees and junior team members. Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
