Sheridan Maine is excited to be partnering with a well-established accountancy practice in London, seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team.

The firm has rapidly expanded since its inception and prides itself on offering a distinctive approach to client service. With a diverse portfolio spanning a variety of specialised sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to work on interesting and varied assignments while contributing to a business that values innovation and individuality.

Key responsibilities of the Audit & Accounts Senior:

• Leading audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion.
• Preparing financial statements and reviewing working papers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff, fostering development and high performance.
• Liaising directly with clients, providing guidance and resolving queries.
• Identifying potential risks and offering practical recommendations.
• Supporting the practice’s continued growth through engagement with clients and internal initiatives.

The ideal Audit & Accounts Senior will have:

• Previous experience in a similar audit & accounts role within an accountancy practice.
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or near completion).
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
• A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
