The role offers a varied mix of audit and non-audit work, with responsibility for statutory accounts, corporate tax, VAT and direct client contact. Role Responsibilities Lead statutory audits from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients. Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP and/or IFRS. Prepare corporate tax computations and complete associated compliance work. Handle VAT-related work and client queries. Manage and review the work of junior staff and trainees where required. Deal directly with clients, building strong relationships and resolving queries by telephone, in the office and on-site. Manage your own workload and deadlines across both audit and accounts assignments. Contribute to the wider development of the practice and support junior colleagues.
