Audit and Accounts Manager

Job Title: Audit andamp; Accounts ManagerLocation: Preston, HybridSalary: £45,000 - £70,000 DOEWe are looking for an experienced Audit andamp; Accounts Manager to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice. This person will play a key role in developing and leading their audit work while also playing a key part in accounts and tax (or willing to build your tax knowledge with support).The roleThis is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone coming from practice, with experience across audit and accounts and an interest in helping shape the future of an audit function. You will manage a small audit team, work closely with senior colleagues, and contribute to the wider delivery of services to our client base.There is genuine long-term progression available, including the potential to become an RI in the future.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the practice''s audit offeringManage and review audit engagementsOversee accounts preparation and support tax complianceManage and support a small audit teamWork closely with partners and senior management on client delivery and audit developmentAbout youProven practice experience is essentialStrong experience across audit and accountsTax experience is desirable but not essential - willingness to learn is keyQualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally with a few years'' post-qualification experienceComfortable managing people or ready to step into a management roleAmbitious, collaborative, and keen to play a long-term role ..... full job details .....
