Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice in the High Wycombe area to recruit an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior.

The Role
You will be involved in a varied mix of audit and accounts preparation work, gaining exposure to a diverse client portfolio across a range of industries. Your key responsibilities as the Audit & Accounts Senior:

Assisting with and completing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients.
Supporting senior team members with audit fieldwork and client engagements.
Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
Working on a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
Supporting junior team members where required.

To be considered for this Audit & Accounts Senior position, you will ideally have:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice.
Strong experience in both audit and accounts preparation.
Good understanding of UK GAAP and compliance requirements.
Confident working with a varied client portfolio.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
