Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established accountancy firm in London that is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join its growing team.

The Role
Working closely with experienced accountants and managers, you will play an important role in delivering a high-quality service to a diverse client base.
Your responsibilities as the Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior will include:

Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
Supporting and undertaking audit assignments from planning through to completion
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
Assisting with personal tax work where required
Preparing management accounts and financial information
Liaising with clients and responding to queries
Supporting more junior members of the team
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

As the Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will ideally have:

2 years' experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice
Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and statutory accounts
Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and/or sole traders
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification/study would be advantageous, although candidates with relevant practice experience will also be considered.
