Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects to the highest standards, leveraging company resources to exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their project needs, deadlines, and requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and attend client meetings to ensure successful project development.
  • Work with internal teams to translate project briefs into detailed technical designs, including lighting, audio, video, rigging, and scenic elements.
  • Create accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets using rental management software.
  • Continuously update specifications and budgets as projects evolve.
  • Produce technical drawings using AutoCAD and create project paperwork to communicate project requirements.
  • Develop Health & Safety documentation to support project designs and ensure compliance.
  • Manage logistics for multiple projects, optimizing resource usage and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Supervise on-site project delivery, ensuring all aspects from load-in to load-out are handled efficiently.
  • Foster positive relationships with venues and clients to ensure project success and satisfaction.
  • Debrief with clients, internal teams, and external suppliers post-project to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Identify and seize new business development opportunities while nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company and represent its values at all times.
  • Stay informed about trends and technologies in the lighting, audio, video, and staging industries.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented environment with the team.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong background in lighting, audio, video system design, and implementation, with in-depth technical knowledge.
  • Ability to lead teams and deploy systems on-site proactively and effectively.
  • Experience in producing quotes, managing budgets, and presenting to clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high proficiency with computer software; familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience in the production industry, along with a solid network of professional contacts.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, due to the nature of live events.
  • A full driving license is highly beneficial.
