Audience Development Coordinator Hourly Rate: £15.56 PAYE Location: Central Sheffield Job Type: Hybrid (office and home working) Join Sheffield Libraries as an Audience Development Coordinator and play a key role in bringing a vibrant programme of events and activities to life. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with the community through a variety of events, from author talks to large-scale activities like Comic Fest and the Summer Reading Challenge. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and coordinate a diverse range of events across Sheffield''s libraries. Develop creative ideas for future events and activities. Support the execution of events such as author talks, history talks, re-enactments, Comic Fest, and the Summer Reading Challenge. Organise the upcoming Book Awards. Handle event administration and complete relevant forms. Coordinate payments for external contributors and suppliers. Promote library events through social media and create newsletters to showcase upcoming activities. Attend events to ensure smooth operation, meet and greet the public, authors, speakers, and other guests. Introduce authors and speakers at events as required. Conduct outreach and networking to develop relationships with individuals, groups, and organisations. Collaborate closely with colleagues and different teams across the library service.
