This is an excellent opportunity for a Pastoral Attendance Officer who is passionate about improving attendance, supporting vulnerable young people, and helping students overcome barriers to education.The successful Pastoral Attendance Officer will play a vital role in monitoring attendance, building relationships with families, and working closely with staff to improve student engagement and outcomes.The RoleAs a Pastoral Attendance Officer, you will:Monitor and track student attendance across the school.Identify patterns of absence and implement attendance interventions.Conduct attendance meetings with parents, carers, and external agencies.Support students with barriers to learning and school engagement.Work alongside safeguarding, pastoral, and leadership teams.Carry out home visits where appropriate.Maintain accurate attendance records and reports.Promote positive attendance and punctuality throughout the school.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal Pastoral Attendance Officer will have:Previous experience as a Pastoral Attendance Officer, Attendance Officer, Family Liaison Officer, Welfare Officer, or similar role.Strong knowledge of attendance procedures and safeguarding practices.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Experience ..... full job details .....
