The Role   As Attendance Officer, you will take responsibility for monitoring and improving pupil attendance, working closely with parents, carers and school staff to identify concerns and put appropriate support in place.  Your responsibilities will include:   Monitoring daily attendance and ensuring school records are accurate and up to date.  Following up on unexplained and persistent absences with parents and carers.  Recording and updating attendance information using the school''s MIS.  Identifying attendance patterns and emerging concerns.  Working closely with pastoral staff, teachers and the Senior Leadership Team.
