      <description>Location: Blackpool | Salary: &amp;pound;102 - &amp;pound;133/day | Type: Temporary | Are you an empathetic communicator skilled at building trust with families and breaking down barriers to school attendance?   A supportive school is looking for a dedicated  Attendance &amp; Family Liaison Officer  to join their pastoral welfare team starting this  September 2026 .  In this vital role, you will act as the key link between home, school, and external agencies-working proactively with parents and carers to address the root causes of persistent absenteeism and re-engage vulnerable pupils with education.   Key Responsibilities:      Attendance Monitoring &amp; Analysis:  Track daily attendance data on school MIS systems (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom), identifying emerging patterns of persistent absence (PA) and lateness.     Direct Family Engagement:  Make proactive first-day contact, conduct supportive home visits, and hold regular meetings with parents/carers to discuss attendance barriers.     Targeted Casework &amp; Support Plans:  Create individualised attendance action plans, addressing underlying issues such as school-related anxiety, SEMH, transport, or family challenges.
