In this vital role, you will act as the key link between home, school, and external agencies-working proactively with parents and carers to address the root causes of persistent absenteeism and re-engage vulnerable pupils with education. Key Responsibilities: Attendance Monitoring & Analysis: Track daily attendance data on school MIS systems (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom), identifying emerging patterns of persistent absence (PA) and lateness. Direct Family Engagement: Make proactive first-day contact, conduct supportive home visits, and hold regular meetings with parents/carers to discuss attendance barriers.
