Assurance ManagerLocation: Farnborough (3 days per week onsite) Duration: 5 Months Rate: 650 per dayClearence: Active Security Clearence Role Purpose The Assurance Manager will provide independent and objective second-line assurance across a broad range of corporate and operational risk areas. The role is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of risk management frameworks, governance arrangements, compliance activities and key control environments to ensure risks are effectively identified, managed and mitigated. Key areas of focus include Data Protection, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Conflicts of Interest, Trade Compliance, Risk and Resilience, Project Lifecycle Management, Safety and Security. The role will assess whether processes are robust, control frameworks are operating effectively, resources are suitably skilled and first-line compliance activities are fit for purpose. The successful candidate will deliver assurance reviews, provide evidence-based findings and recommendations, support continuous improvement initiatives and undertake ad-hoc investigations or targeted risk reviews where required.
