Associate Urban Designer

Associate Urban Designer role based in Manchester, focusing on UK urban regeneration and masterplanning projects. You will lead complex town centre and mixed-use developments from concept through planning stages. The role supports delivery of large-scale schemes within the UK planning system, offering hybrid working with regular studio collaboration.Role and ResponsibilitiesLead urban design projects from concept to planningManage programmes and project delivery requirementsCoordinate multidisciplinary design teams effectivelyDevelop design proposals for regeneration schemesEngage with clients, stakeholders, and consultantsYou will also support bids, contribute to business development, and mentor junior team members. The role involves producing high-quality design outputs using industry standard tools.Skills and Experience RequiredAt least 5 years UK urban design experienceStrong masterplanning and regeneration backgroundExperience leading projects through planning stagesProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D softwareKnowledge of UK planning policy and processesA relevant qualification in urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, or planning is required.
